The Uniphos Envirotrack is microprocessor based portable instrument custom made to measure the pollutants in the Ambient Air. It comes with an Air sampler where the sample air is scrubbed in a solution specific to the pollutant. The pollutant gas dissolves in the gas specific chemical and is further processed to produce a colored dye. The instrument measures the absorbance of light passed through this colored dye and relates it to the concentration of pollutants in ppb levels.  
With datalogging included as standard and the presence of a USB interface, the user can easily transfer the stored data along with time and date to a computer.

These free fatty acids contribute to oil rancidity and cause deterioration in flavour of the oil. The sample oil is first treated with a variety of reagents to create a colored dye. The instrument measures the absorbance of the light passed through this colored dye and relates it to the free fatty acids as % of Oleic acid. The Uniphos Headspace Analyser is a portable analyzer, ideal for quick and accurate measurement of gases used in Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) and / or Controlled Atmosphere Packaging (CAP). The headspace analyzer helps in determining the success of CAP/ MAP packaging. It can only be used for collapsible type of packaging 

Two variants of Headspace analyzer are available: 

  • Headspace Oxygen Analyzer – To measure the concentration of just Oxygen in CAP/MAP 
  • Headspace Gas Analyzer – To measure the concentration of Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide in CAP/MAP 

The analyzer comprises of a sampling probe fitted with a syringe needle which can be used to pierce the collapsible packaging. It is equipped with a diaphragm pump which enables the instrument to draw the sample air from the packaging. Uniphos Tubes

Detector Tube Technology  The Uniphos brand of detector tubes are used with the precision ASP-40 piston hand pump. The air sample is drawn through the narrow tube containing a specific gas sensing chemical causing a color change.  The length of color stain gives the concentration which is read directly from the measurement scale printed on the tube. The piston style pump and tube configuration often have the measurement based on a single pump stroke.   Uniphos detector tubes provide a simple measurement of chemicals in gas samples. Since the tubes are pre-calibrated, no calibration is necessary and hence are absolutely free of maintenance.   More than 250 different Uniphos Gas Detection Tubes are available for over 150 different chemicals and concentration ranges
