Solo 822 & 823 – Smoke and Heat Detector Test and Removal Kit – Cordless
Available in two working heights, the cordless Solo smoke and heat detector test and removal kit includes all the equipment needed for the safe testing of detectors out of normal reach. The battery operated heat detector tester means that there are no trailing cables, ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Work regulations. The kit includes a 150ml canister of Solo A10 smoke detector tester spray as well as a protective carry bag for storing the equipment safely.

Our Solo smoke detector starter packs are made up of the equipment needed for smoke detector testing at entry level. As well as the Solo 330 smoke dispenser and the Solo A10 smoke detector tester spray, the kit includes an extension or telescopic access pole. There are three kits to choose from depending on the working height required.

Solo C3 – Carbon Monoxide Detector Tester
The Solo C3 carbon monoxide (CO) detector tester spray is designed for use in conjunction with the Solo 330 dispenser. Used in this controlled manner, the canister safely tests a CO detector by introducing a measured amount of CO gas to the sensor, whilst maintaining concentration levels below the toxic threshold. The Solo C3 tester is non-flammable and is supplied in a non-hazardous pressurised canister.

Please note: Some carbon monoxide detectors require a low level of CO present over a long period of time. It is unlikely that the Solo C3 will be suitable for testing these types of detectors.
Solo 727 – Fast Battery Charger
The Solo cordless detector testers are powered by a rechargeable battery baton, allowing smoke, heat, and CO detectors to be tested without the need for cabling. The Solo fast battery charger is supplied with 12V and mains connections and is used to recharge the cordless heat detector tester battery batons. The charger is lightweight and provides a rapid charging time of 90 minutes.

Solo 200 – Universal Detector Removal Tool
With the ability to create various size combinations, the Solo 200 universal detector removal tool is designed to suit the majority of smoke, CO and heat detectors for removal, inspection and replacement. The Solo tool has colour coded grips that simply twist in to place and the universal joint allows the tool to remain parallel with the ceiling. This makes it ideal for the removal of detectors installed in sloping ceilings. The Solo detector removal tool is to be used in conjunction with a Solo telescopic access pole and can also be used as part of a Testifire system. The Solo A10 and A10S smoke detector tester aerosols contain a non-flammable, non-toxic simulated smoke and are designed for use in the Solo 330 or Solo 332. These dispensers provide a seal around the smoke detector, delivering the test smoke directly to the detector while helping to reduce the amount of A10 or A10S used per test. Supplied in either a 150ml or 250ml aerosol canister, the Solo tester sprays provide a quick alarm response and clearing time and are universally suitable for all types and makes of point smoke detector.
