Medical oxygen and resuscitators
Inspection, refilling and replacement of medical oxygen sets and resuscitators; checks of the ship's medical equipment and its stocks of medicines and medical supplies.
When a crew member stops breathing, there is no time to look for a working regulator. Oxygen sets sit in the ship's hospital for years and are only opened when they are needed.
We check the sets properly, keep cylinder dates current and help you keep your medical chest in line with your flag state's list.
Scope
Regulator, flow, masks, hoses, cylinder pressure and test date are checked; worn parts are replaced.
Refilling with medical oxygen or exchange; hydrostatic testing when due.
Expiry dates of defibrillator pads and batteries and of other hospital equipment are checked.
The contents of the medical chest are checked against the flag state's list; missing or expired items are supplied.
