The Solo 365 smoke detector tester allows easy, functional testing of smoke detectors in any environment thanks to its light weight, built-in LED torch, and non-pressurised smoke cartridges that are far smaller than standard Solo aerosol cans. Combining the simplicity of the Solo 330/332 head with the intelligence and cartridge system of the Testifire range, the Solo 365 features an ‘auto-start’ proximity sensor that will automatically start and stop the testing process to reduce wasted smoke and let engineers move around sites quicker. The powerful 2600mAh / 9.5Wh Lithium Ion battery is considerably smaller and lighter than the batons used for Testifire systems, making the unit easier to carry and use, while the MicroUSB interface means recharging can be done almost anywhere at any time.

Solo 808, 809 & 810 – Smoke Detector Testing Starter Packs
Our Solo smoke detector starter packs are made up of the equipment needed for smoke detector testing at entry level. As well as the Solo 330 smoke dispenser and the Solo A10 smoke detector tester spray, the kit includes an extension or telescopic access pole. There are three kits to choose from depending on the working height required.

Solo 365 Spare Battery Pack
The Solo 365 smoke detector tester is not compatible with the battery batons used for other testing equipment, such as the Testifire or Solo 400 series, and instead uses a new battery pack that fits in the head of the unit. Utilising high-capacity Lithium Ion technology, the new Solo 365 battery pack can be recharged by a standard MicroUSB cable from almost any power source while the small and lightweight design means spares can easily be carried around on site.

Solo 814 – Smoke and Heat Detector Test and Removal Kit – Mains
The Solo 814 smoke and heat detector test and removal kit is supplied with a 4.5m telescopic access pole. Designed to be used with the dispenser, tester and removal tools, the access pole allows technicians to test detectors without having to climb and ensures compliance with the Safe Working at Height Regulations 2005. The smoke dispenser introduces simulated smoke to the detector, whilst the mains powered heat detector tester blows hot air into the sensor.

Unlike other electronic detector testing systems, the Solo 365 does not require manufacturer refurbishment or servicing when any single component breaks, as the high-use parts are available for replacement by the user. The field service pack contains all user-replaceable components for the Solo 365 smoke detector test head, allowing engineers to carry spares everywhere they go to almost completely eliminate downtime due to damaged or worn-out equipment. Containing a cup and membrane, smoke generator module, and a battery, this kit includes almost everything needed to keep a Solo 365 in working order.

Solo A10 & A10S – Smoke Detector Test Aerosols
The Solo A10 and A10S smoke detector tester aerosols contain a non-flammable, non-toxic simulated smoke and are designed for use in the Solo 330 or Solo 332. These dispensers provide a seal around the smoke detector, delivering the test smoke directly to the detector while helping to reduce the amount of A10 or A10S used per test. Supplied in either a 150ml or 250ml aerosol canister, the Solo tester sprays provide a quick alarm response and clearing time and are universally suitable for all types and makes of point smoke detector.

Testifire 2000 Smoke/Heat/CO Detector Tester – Head Unit
The Testifire range of products offer the best value multi-sensor testing equipment available. Testifire’s 2000-001 replacement smoke/heat/CO detector tester head is designed to be used with your existing Solo telescopic or extension pole and helps remove the need for expensive scaffolding when testing detectors on high ceilings. The technologically advanced 2000 series allows for functional testing of not only smoke and heat sensors, but also carbon monoxide detectors. Testifire products generate the required sensor stimuli as and when needed. This removes the need to transport pressurised containers containing smoke or carbon monoxide to site, presenting a massive advantage.

Solo 727 – Fast Battery Charger
The Solo cordless detector testers are powered by a rechargeable battery baton, allowing smoke, heat, and CO detectors to be tested without the need for cabling. The Solo fast battery charger is supplied with 12V and mains connections and is used to recharge the cordless heat detector tester battery batons. The charger is lightweight and provides a rapid charging time of 90 minutes.
