Dräger X-plore 8000 Safety Visor

The Dräger X-plore 8000 face shield is a headpiece that gives effective protection for the eyes and the whole face. As part of the Dräger X-plore 8000 series it is used with X-plore 8000 powered air-purifying respirators (PAPR) and with the X-plore 9300 airline system for an independent air supply. It meets protection class TH3 with the X-plore 8300, 8500 or 8700, and EN 14594 class 4A/3B with the X-plore 9300. The ergonomic design spreads the weight evenly on the head; the shield is very light and comfortable in long-term use. The head circumference is set with a rotary knob at the back, the direction of the air outlet at the forehead can be changed and the visor flips up. The shield connects easily to the air supply with the standard hose or the folding hose; the same hose is also used with X-plore 8000 hoods and helmets. The large visor is made of impact-resistant polycarbonate with a scratch-resistant and anti-fog coating. The seal material is textile, neck-length/short, and it fits every size. Head protection is optional (EN 812); it is not compatible with hearing protection. It is used in construction, cleaning processes, the automotive industry, hospital applications, transport and handling work, and sanding, grinding and blasting.
