Dräger FPS-COM 7000
The Dräger FPS-COM 7000 is a mask communication system that enables hands-free communication between all breathing apparatus wearers; by filtering interference it delivers excellent speech quality. It was developed together with the Dräger FPS 7000 full face mask for demanding operations with dense smoke, ambient noise and gas-tight suits. New digital noise suppression automatically eliminates ambient sounds and transmits only your voice; breathing noise is filtered as well. Built-in loudspeakers allow direct contact with casualties and team members without a radio. An integrated push-to-talk (PTT) button operates an optional radio, connected by cable or Bluetooth. Voice-activated operation allows communication within or between groups without pressing a button, including full-duplex speech; if the group has only one radio, received instructions can be relayed to up to ten group members via a short-range transmitter. The selected group is announced via the ear speaker, and alarm tones warn of low batteries or leaving the group's range. Optional software lets you adjust settings such as the number of groups, and you can switch between up to ten groups during an operation. The robust design withstands strong impacts and extreme temperatures, is rated IP67, is waterproof and easy to clean; even weight distribution avoids neck strain without restricting the field of view. A click connection lets it be fitted and removed in seconds without tools, so you do not need a separate unit for every mask; a protective cap keeps the mask ready when the unit is not fitted.
