DrägerSensor XS
The DrägerSensor XS series are smart sensors for monitoring toxic gases and oxygen deficiency, with options for hydrides and organic vapours. They are compatible with the Dräger X-am 7000, and with the X-am 5100 for H2O2, HF/HCl and hydrazine; measuring ranges are in vol.% and ppm. Sensors have also been developed for the reliable measurement of highly reactive gases such as H2O2, HF, HCl or hydrazine. The XS OV sensor stores sensitivity data for more than 12 gases and vapours, so one sensor can detect different gas hazards. Dräger guarantees a service life of up to five years for XS sensors, and their stability allows longer calibration intervals. A built-in EEPROM stores temperature compensation, measuring range, calibration interval and gas type; this data is processed automatically when the sensor is inserted in an X-am 7000, so sensors can be swapped between instruments without recalibration.
