Dräger X-plore 8000 filters are a filter range for Dräger X-plore 8000 powered air-purifying respirators (PAPR). The range offers different filter types for the main fields of use and protects against particles and various gases and vapours. The range includes five types: A1B1E1 P R SL (6739550), A1B1E1K1 Hg P R SL (6739555), A2 P R SL (6739545), A2 (6739580) and K2 (6739585). Filter choice depends on the substance; for example A1B1E1K1 Hg P R SL and K2 for ammonia, and A1B1E1 P R SL, A1B1E1K1 Hg P R SL, A2 and A2 P R SL for benzene. Mask and filter can protect against inhaling radioactive particles but not against radioactive emission or radiation; when in doubt a combined particle and gas filter is recommended.
