X-zone 5800
Dräger X-zone 5800 turns the Dräger X-am 5000, 5100, 5600 or 5800 personal gas detectors into a transportable area monitor and measures up to six gases with the inserted instrument. Its internal pump draws gas from up to 30 m away; switching to diffusion mode takes less than a minute and needs no tools. When gas is detected, the green LED alarm ring turns red and a loud evacuation alarm sounds. Up to 25 units link automatically into a wireless alarm chain. The 24 Ah battery provides up to 120 hours of operation; an optional Ex power supply allows continuous use, even in zone 0. Rear interfaces offer a configurable relay and Modbus.
