X-zone 5500
Dräger X-zone 5500 turns the Dräger X-am 5000, 5100, 5600 or 5800 personal gas detectors into a transportable area monitor and measures up to six gases with the inserted instrument. The robust, waterproof unit is placed where gas hazards can be expected. A 360° gas inlet lets gas reach the instrument from all sides. When gas is detected, the green LED alarm ring turns red and a loud evacuation alarm sounds. Up to 25 units link automatically into a wireless alarm chain that passes the alarm to every unit. The 24 Ah battery provides up to 120 hours of continuous operation; it offers a Modbus data interface and Ex zone 0 approval.
