Dräger Polytron 8720 IR is an explosion-proof Polytron 8000 series transmitter that detects carbon dioxide in percent volume or ppm with an infrared Dräger PIR 7200 sensor. Alongside a 3-wire 4–20 mA analogue output it offers HART, Modbus and fieldbus, with a relay option. Response time ≤ 8 seconds, SIL 2, IP65/66/67 and operation from -40 °C to 77 °C.
