Dräger Polytron 8700 IR is a Polytron 8000 series transmitter that detects combustible gases in the lower explosion limit (LEL) with an infrared Dräger PIR 7000 sensor. Alongside a 3-wire 4–20 mA analogue output it offers HART, Modbus and fieldbus, with a relay option. 4-second response time, SIL 2, IP65/66/67 and operation from -40 °C to 77 °C; ATEX and IECEx approved.
