Dräger X-act 7000
The Dräger X-act 7000 is an opto-electronic analysis system that works with Dräger MicroTubes to selectively measure carcinogenic and toxic substances in the low ppb range. Based on colorimetric chemical sensors, it delivers results directly on site instead of time-consuming and costly laboratory analyses: insert the right MicroTube, start the measurement and read the result. RFID tags on the MicroTubes carry all calibration data valid for their typical one-year life, so complex function tests and manual calibration are not required. The analyser is certified under ATEX/IECEx for Zone 0 and is dust and splash-proof to IP54. After an automatic self-test it is ready for use; it offers 3-button operation, a 2.4-inch colour display and an internal data logger that is read out with the Dräger CC-Vision software. Five standard batteries provide more than ten hours of measuring with the recommended batteries. With the Dräger X-am Pump connected via the coupler, measurements can be made in hard-to-reach places such as tanks, shafts and pipelines up to 45 metres away.
