Comfort Vest CVP 5220
The Dräger Comfort Vest CVP 5220 is a cooling vest worn underneath fire brigade clothing or gas-tight chemical protective suits. Twenty PCM (phase change material) elements in the inner lining absorb excess heat at a skin temperature of 28 °C and reduce skin temperature by approx. 3–4 °C; depending on workload and ambient temperature the effect lasts up to 4 hours. It needs no pre-freezing or dipping into water and is ready again within 4 hours at most when stored below 22 °C.
