Dräger X-pid 9500 is a selective PID gas analyser for users who frequently test for toxic and carcinogenic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as benzene. It brings gas chromatography and photoionisation detection to the field and delivers laboratory-quality results. "Zoeker" mode continuously measures total VOCs, while "Analyse" mode selectively measures preselected target substances within seconds; a benzene measurement takes 30 seconds. No consumables are needed per measurement. X-pid 9500 detects benzene from 50 ppb, X-pid 9500+ from 7 ppb. It is operated through the Mobile App on an explosion-proof smartphone included in the delivery.
