Dräger X-am 5100 is a portable single-gas detector designed for reactive gases such as HF, HCl, H2O2 or hydrazine, used for personal air monitoring. A special instrument design with direct gas inlet prevents gas adsorption on the housing, giving fast sensor response and precise readings. It is light and robust, with a threefold alarm (360° visual, multi-tone audible, vibration) and two-button operation. It runs on replaceable alkaline batteries or a NiMH battery charged in the instrument. IP54, -20 to 50 °C, 220 g; ATEX, IECEx and cCSAus approved.
