pBDi Portable Biodetector

pBDi is a portable biodetector for rapid, sensitive on-site identification of biothreat agents. Using multiplex ELISA on an electrochemical biochip, it identifies toxins, bacteria and viruses, with results for up to 6 agents in 20 minutes. Battery operation allows use in the hot zone; results appear as traffic-light displays on a Bluetooth-connected ruggedised tablet.
