The Uniphos p-Anisidine value meter is a light weight, low cost, microprocessor-based instrument tailor made for the measurement of p-anisidine value of edible oil. It operates on the principle of optical absorption to determine the anisidine value. The chemical analysis method of p-Anisidine Value determines the amount of aldehydes (principally 2-alkenals and 2,4-dienals) in animal and vegetable oils and fats. This easy-to-use battery-operated instrument features an intuitive user interface and has in-built data logging facility as standard.
Uniphos ASP-40 Air Sampling Pump and Accessories
Uniphos Envirotrack
Uniphos Envirotrack
The Uniphos Envirotrack is microprocessor based portable instrument custom made to measure the pollutants in the Ambient Air. It comes with an Air sampler where the sample air is scrubbed in a solution specific to the pollutant. The pollutant gas dissolves in the gas specific chemical and is further processed to produce a colored dye. The instrument measures the absorbance of light passed through this colored dye and relates it to the concentration of pollutants in ppb levels.
With datalogging included as standard and the presence of a USB interface, the user can easily transfer the stored data along with time and date to a computer.
Uniphos FFA Meter
Uniphos FFA Meter
Uniphos Free Fatty acids is an ideal instrument for the determination of acid value of edible Oil samples. The fatty acids in the oil get detached from the triglycerides during processing or improper storage. These free fatty acids contribute to oil rancidity and cause deterioration in flavour of the oil. The sample oil is first treated with a variety of reagents to create a colored dye. The instrument measures the absorbance of the light passed through this colored dye and relates it to the free fatty acids as % of Oleic acid. With datalogging included as standard and the USB interface present in the instrument allows the user to easily transfer the stored data along with time and date to a computer.
Uniphos HeadSpace Analyzer
Uniphos HeadSpace Analyzer
The Uniphos Headspace Analyser is a portable analyzer, ideal for quick and accurate measurement of gases used in Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) and / or Controlled Atmosphere Packaging (CAP). The headspace analyzer helps in determining the success of CAP/ MAP packaging. It can only be used for collapsible type of packaging
Two variants of Headspace analyzer are available:
- Headspace Oxygen Analyzer – To measure the concentration of just Oxygen in CAP/MAP
- Headspace Gas Analyzer – To measure the concentration of Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide in CAP/MAP
The analyzer comprises of a sampling probe fitted with a syringe needle which can be used to pierce the collapsible packaging. It is equipped with a diaphragm pump which enables the instrument to draw the sample air from the packaging. It is equipped with an electrochemical sensor for O2 and an NDIR sensor for CO2 to deliver the most accurate result and unmatched performance possible. The OLED display enables the user to read the concentration levels even in the dark.
Uniphos Oil Spectrophotometer
Uniphos Oil Spectrophotometer
The Uniphos Oil Spectrophotometer is a light and compact portable microprocessor based nondispersive spectrophotometer tailormade for the analysis of metal elements in edible Oil. The sample oil is first treated with a variety of reagents to create a colored dye. The instrument measures the absorbance of the infrared light passed through this colored dye and calculates the concentration of metal impurities present in the Oil in ppm. The clear digital display and simple user interface makes the analysis easy to operate even by an ordinary technician. With datalogging included as standard and the USB interface present in the instrument allows the user to easily transfer the stored data along with time and date to a computer.
