The Solo 365 smoke detector tester allows easy, functional testing of smoke detectors in any environment thanks to its light weight, built-in LED torch, and non-pressurised smoke cartridges that are far smaller than standard Solo aerosol cans. Combining the simplicity of the Solo 330/332 head with the intelligence and cartridge system of the Testifire range, the Solo 365 features an 'auto-start' proximity sensor that will automatically start and stop the testing process to reduce wasted smoke and let engineers move around sites quicker. Solo 101 – Extension Access Pole
The Solo 101 extension access pole, designed for use on its own or in conjunction with a Solo telescopic pole, allows for detector testing equipment to be used at normal ceiling height or up to a maximum working height of 9 metres. The extension access pole negates the need for ladders or expensive scaffolding and therefore ensures that alarm technicians fully comply with the Safe Working at Height Directive.

With the ability to create various size combinations, the Solo 200 universal detector removal tool is designed to suit the majority of smoke, CO and heat detectors for removal, inspection and replacement. The Solo tool has colour coded grips that simply twist in to place and the universal joint allows the tool to remain parallel with the ceiling. This makes it ideal for the removal of detectors installed in sloping ceilings. The Solo detector removal tool is to be used in conjunction with a Solo telescopic access pole and can also be used as part of a Testifire system. Solo 330 – Smoke Dispenser
The Solo 330 smoke dispenser allows simulated smoke (not supplied) to be introduced to a detector sensing chamber in a safe and effective manner. Suitable for the majority of detectors (up to 100mm/4" in diameter), the Solo smoke dispenser has a test cup that provides a clear view of the detector LED, and its spring loaded mechanism helps to conserve the aerosol and minimise waste. To test smoke detectors installed at a height, the Solo 330 smoke dispenser can be used with a Solo telescopic access pole.

Fitted with a large clear cup, the Solo 332 is a smoke dispenser suitable for detectors up to 17.7cm/7" in diameter. Designed to introduce simulated smoke (not supplied) to a detector in an effective manner, the 332 allows a functional sensor test to be carried out. The dispenser is suitable for use with the Solo telescopic and extension access poles to enable safe smoke detector testing when installed at height.

The ES3 Smoke Cartridge for the Solo 365 smoke detector testing system is a non-pressurised and non-flammable cartridge that can easily be stored and transported without any specific safety measures, unlike the aerosols used by standard testing equipment. With a comparable test capacity to the Solo A3 and A10s aerosols when used as per manufacturer recommendations but at a greatly reduced size and weight, spare cartridges can be carried without worry or burden meaning there will be no need to return to the van when they run out.

Solo 365 Replacement Cup and Membrane
The Solo 365 has a clear cup to surround the smoke detector, containing the specially formulated synthetic smoke to achieve accurate functional testing without flooding and possibly contaminating the sensor. The translucent plastic allows engineers to to see the progress of each cycle as well as check any status indicator LEDs on the detector being tested. A membrane is fitted to the rim of the cup to help form a seal around the detector and further prevent wastage.

The Solo mains powered heat detector testers are designed specifically for checking heat detectors using a genuine and safe heat source. Available in two voltage versions, the mains powered heat detector testers are supplied with a 5m (16ft) cable and are suitable for use on fixed temperature, rate-of-rise and combination detectors up to 90 °C (194 °F). The Solo 911 smoke detector testing kit allows engineers to reach heights of up to 6m without the need for ladders, harnesses, or other equipment that may need special training and risk assessments. Using the new Solo 365 testing system there is no longer a need to store or transport pressurised aerosols while the battery has also been changed to a much smaller and lighter design that charges via MicroUSB. Solo A10 & A10S – Smoke Detector Test Aerosols
The Solo A10 and A10S smoke detector tester aerosols contain a non-flammable, non-toxic simulated smoke and are designed for use in the Solo 330 or Solo 332. These dispensers provide a seal around the smoke detector, delivering the test smoke directly to the detector while helping to reduce the amount of A10 or A10S used per test. Supplied in either a 150ml or 250ml aerosol canister, the Solo tester sprays provide a quick alarm response and clearing time and are universally suitable for all types and makes of point smoke detector.

Solo C3 – Carbon Monoxide Detector Tester
The Solo C3 carbon monoxide (CO) detector tester spray is designed for use in conjunction with the Solo 330 dispenser. Used in this controlled manner, the canister safely tests a CO detector by introducing a measured amount of CO gas to the sensor, whilst maintaining concentration levels below the toxic threshold. The Solo C3 tester is non-flammable and is supplied in a non-hazardous pressurised canister.

Please note: Some carbon monoxide detectors require a low level of CO present over a long period of time. It is unlikely that the Solo C3 will be suitable for testing these types of detectors.
Solo C6 – Hand-held Carbon Monoxide Detector Tester
Designed for use with domestic carbon monoxide (CO) detectors, the Solo C6 is a hand-held tester spray that does not require specialist equipment, such as dispensers. It is supplied with an applicator straw, which introduces CO to the detector sensor in a controlled manner.

Solo Domestic Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Tester Kit
The Solo domestic smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarm tester kit is ideal for applications such as rented accommodation, where the landlord is responsible to ensure alarms are functional upon changeover of tenancy. Supplied with Solo A10 and Solo C3 aerosols, the large dispenser introduces smoke or CO without flooding the alarms. The 1.13m extension access pole ensures alarms at normal ceiling height can be reached without the need for ladders.
