Peltier Based Sample Handling System

Peltier Based Sample Handling System

The Uniphos Peltier Cooled Probe is an advanced sample conditioning system to draw a gas sample from an emissions stack being monitored. Sample extraction and conditioning is an important part of all Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and includes extracting the sample from the stack and maintaining the dew point of the sample at such a level that there is no condensation at any point until the concentration of the sample is measured. This ensures proper transport and measurement of sample concentrations.

The Peltier Cooled Probe is a unique product which is based on an advanced hot and dry extractive technique where the sample is extracted and conditioned on the stack and transported to the analyzer using a non-heated sampling tube at ambient temperature. It consists of a stack mountable system which includes a heated probe, a short, heated sampling line and a Peltier cooled sample conditioning module, all integrated in a single enclosure. Using a Peltier Cooled Probe reduces the length of the heated sampling line to less than half a meter, bringing down the operating cost many times.

Remote Calibration

Remote Calibration

Remote calibration is the process of remotely triggering either zero or span calibration for a gas analyzer through a web portal. The remote calibration feature in the Uniphos CEMS not only enables access to the analyzer remotely but also assists in performing various activities like zeroing, calibration and validation of the analyzer remotely.

Simple Sampling Probe

Simple Sampling Probe

The Uniphos Simple Sampling probe is tailor made for situations where temperature of the stack is not high, and condensation does not happen while extracting the sample from the stack. The dust filter present in the probe ensures that no dust is passed through the line.  User-Settable purging facility enables automatic purging of the probe at pre-defined time intervals.

TDLAS Based Gas Analyser

TDLAS Based Gas Analyser

The TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy) technique in combination with WMS (wavelength modulation spectroscopy) is highly sensitive and specific method for detection of gases and is an excellent technique for concentration measurement of gaseous species in scientific as well as industrial applications. Uniphos TDLAS based gas analyzer are exceptionally reliable for trace level detection of atmospheric pollutants like HF, HCl, NH3 etc. Our TDLAS based analyser provides an accurate and real time measurements of these atmospheric pollutants from ppm levels to percentage levels.

TPF Probe

TPF Probe

The emission of pollutants such as CO, CO2, NO, NO2, total NOx, SO2 etc. from stacks are often measured and reported for regulatory compliance purposes on a mass flow rate basis. Mass flow rates are typically calculated and reported in units of lbs or kg per hour and tons per year for these pollutants. The pollutant mass flow rate is a function of the pollutant concentration of the stack gas, the stack size & shape, and the stack gas velocity.

The Uniphos Integrated Temperature, Pressure and Flow Probe is meant for continuous and real time measurement of Temperature, Pressure and velocity of gases in industrial stacks. All the three sensors are integrated on a single flange and can easily be mounted on the stack without any hassle.

Fluorescence Based SO2 Stack Gas Analyzer

Fluorescence Based SO2 Stack Gas Analyzer

The Uniphos Fluorescence Based SO2 Stack Gas Analyzer is a reliable instrument with high sensitivity and selectivity which is designed and developed to meet customer’s requirement for measuring the concentration of SO2 in PPM levels. Specific optical filters in the fluorescence cell in addition to moisture and hydrocarbon scrubbing systems ensures removal of any interferences making the analyzer highly specific for SO2 detection.

The optical excitation of SO2 molecules results in fluorescence in the wavelength region typically between 240-420 nm and the fluorescence intensity is related to SO2 concentration.

The Analyzer is equipped with the latest embedded and IOT technologies which enables the user to perform Auto/ Remote calibration. The analyzer comes with built in diagnostics and internal memory which can store the test results along with date and time.

Uniphos Oxygen Analyzer

Uniphos Oxygen Analyzer

The Uniphos Oxygen Analyzer with Zirconia Oxygen sensor is a versatile analyzer offering oxygen concentration measurement in industrial stacks operating at high temperature and humidity. The sensor employs a well proven Zirconium Dioxide based element which gives a highly accurate linear output. The Analyzer is equipped with the latest embedded and IOT technologies which allows Auto/ Remote calibration as well as calibration with fresh air.

Data Acquisition System

Data Acquisition System

Data acquisition is an important function in Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS). The main objective of the data acquisition system is to provide real time reports that can be used for compliance reporting, process improvements and environment performance management. With in-built GSM/LAN connectivity, the gas readings are uploaded to the cloud, where they can be viewed from anywhere in the world on a laptop or mobile device and alarm functions can easily be configured, allowing 24/7 continuous monitoring.

Dust Analyzer

Dust Analyzer

An optical instrument designed to measure the concentration of dust or particulate matter suspended in the exhaust gas passing through a duct, stack, or flue; typically the exhaust gas from an industrial combustion process or air filtration system.

Dust Analyzer uses the Innovative Dynamic Detection Principle (DDP) which measures fluctuations in the intensity of a light beam, using a folded beam Transceiver /Reflector arrangement. Increased particulate density in the stack causes the scattered light intensity to increase. When calibrated against reference standards, the intensity of this signal relates directly to the particulate concentration in the stack, and this can be used to display as a reading in mg/m³.

Membrane Based Sample Handling System

Membrane Based Sample Handling System

Sample Extraction and Conditioning System or Membrane based Sample Conditioning System

“Membrane based sample conditioning system is for dry sample extraction. This is needed where highly soluble and corrosive acidic gases are present in the sample to be extracted. It reduces the dust load and moisture content in the sample to transport it to CEMS without a heated sampling line. This reduces the running cost of the overall system. The system is specially designed for extracting highly corrosive gases like HBr, F2, HF, HCl and Cl2 from the stack. The system can be directly mounted on the stack with the flange connections and is used where the stack temperatures are <100°C and where very low dewpoints are necessary. The power required to run the system and the necessary communication is established from the CEMS through a cable running between them. “

NDIR Stack Gas Analyzer

NDIR Stack Gas Analyzer

All diatomic and polyatomic molecules have one or several vibrational modes which can absorb radiation and give rise to a unique absorption spectrum in the infrared region with several absorption lines. Taking any one of the IR absorption lines of the target gas as its finger print, an instrument can be built for measurement of target gas concentration. Infrared technique is endowed with very high specificity when a right choice of the vibrational frequency of the target molecule is madeThis technique is cost effective and reliable for measurement of gas concentration in parts per million range.

The Uniphos NDIR Stack Gas Analyzer are endowed with specificity and have adequate sensitivity for the detection of gases like SO2, NOx, CO, CO2 and CH4 in industrial stacks. The in-built powerful pump enables the analyzer to draw the sample from stack. Analyzer is equipped with the latest embedded and IOT technologies which enables the user to perform Remote calibration. This PLC based analyser incorporates all desired features which makes it user-friendly and fail safe.
